New York from the height
New York - City of Lights
New York owes its numerous landmarks to the industrial revolution and the building boom that followed since the beginning of the early 20th century, which still hasn’t halt. Developers competed to outdo each other in terms of size and height. The projects became more and more daring and megalomaniac. It was a stroke of luck for all designers and architects. The city attracted the most creative minds of the time. So it happened that the immigrant architects, Jews and other intellectuals, expelled from Europe during World War II, had settled in the New World and made a considerable contribution to the expansion of the city, shaping a cultural and architectural melting pot as it is today.
New York without its famous skyline full of towering buildings is simply unthinkable, and it would be just as half as exciting. Seeing the skyline and experiencing it from the height is THE HIGHLIGHT of every New York visit!
Have a look at New York’s breath-taking panoramic scenes form a bird’s-eye view, caught through my lenses. Let the photos speak for themselves, since a picture is worth a thousand words.
